The TP-Link Deco X50 is a fast AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 mesh system for homes on high-speed fibre. Support for 160 MHz channels lifts the 5 GHz band to 2402 Mbps, with another 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, so large downloads, 4K streaming and cloud gaming all have plenty of headroom. It is aimed at households and home offices on 300 Mbps or faster plans that want every room to keep up with the connection, even through thick walls.
The single unit covers up to about 2,500 sq ft, suiting a one- to three-bedroom flat. It can serve as your main router today and be joined by more Deco units later.
